Thompson Spit (WA50.3) is located on the northern Olympic Peninsula on the Strait of Juan de Fuca on Protection Island Aquatic Reserve. The primary species here is toothed surfgrass (Phyllospadix sp) and sometimes Zostera marina. We have been monitoring this site since 2012.
