Neill Point (WA 50.6) is in the southern Salish Sea, just south of Quartermaster Harbor in Vashon, Washington, USA. This site is located adjacent to the Washington State Department of Natural Resources Maury Island Aquatic Reserve. The primary species at this site is native eelgrass, Zostera marina, with sparse occurrences of non-native eelgrass, Zostera japonica, on the transect. Between 2013-2024, Z. marina decreased at the Neill Point SeagrassNet transect coinciding with slight species composition changes occurring along the transect. Only transect B (0 m, MLLW) is monitored at this site.
