Linkletter beach is located on Linkletter Beach Road off Route 11, this beach is about 4km west of Summerside Prince Edward Island. The transects are located about 170 meters straight out from the west side of the parking area. This narrow beach is about 5 meters wide, the sand on the beach is fine-grained with minimal rocks and shells. At high tide, water depth can range from about half meter to about ankle depth. Linkletter is a beach where you must walk far on low tide to get any depth of water. Each transect has an abundant amount of sea grass, with most quadrants being in ankle deep water at low tide.
