SeagrassNet monitoring group in Kosrae, Federated States of Micronesia, with inset photo of Maxwell Salik, team leader. The group includes representatives of the Kosrae Fisheries Development Division, the Kosrae Development Review Commission, and the Peace Corps. The first seagrass monitoring transect in Kosrae was established in the Trochus Reserve south of the airport on the northwest end of the island; Enhalus acoroides, Thalassia hemprichii, and Cymodocea rotundata are the major seagrasses along the transect.
